ProArc Central is more a set of core components than a standalone module. The following components/modules are parts of ProArc Central:
- The ProArc Application Server
- The ProArc Database
- Configuration and Setup tools
Features within ProArc Central:
- Basic data and document management
- User access control & privileges
- Configuration of repositories, metadata and lists
The configuration tools enable a trained Super User to create, change, add, move and recreate the rules and functions inside the ProArc program. The application also maintains all the users and their access level assigned, the workflow templates identified and designed. An integration with Active Directory is available.
A trained Super User can use these tools to configure and set up a complete ProArc Document Control System, to meet the projects DMS requirements, using the Windows setup modules, without programming skills
