ProArc Workflow  

The Workflow module provides functionality for distribution and process control of documents. The module can be used in order to satisfy different organisations' needs, regarding the degree of complexity related to distribution of documents. In its simplest form, the module can be used for centralized administration of paper-based documents (transmittals). By taking advantage of the electronic archive and the activity list, the module can be used as a complete and sophisticated workflow-management tool.

Different workflows can be defined to automate and control processes in the company. Processes like Document approval and IDC can be defined as a workflow, and linked to documents and recipients.

Predefined distribution matrices can be used to automate the linking between documents and recipients on a workflow. Users will be notified by mail or in ProArc, and will use the Workflow Activity List to keep track of their activities.

The graphical workflow designer is used to define the processes to be automated, and business rules and decision points within the Process.
